In Memoriam

My Father was very fond of music, he liked minor moods, although I remember, that once we came up with the idea of teaching my brother to play the accordion.

And… it began… The Brother was not so much interested in, however Father started paying lively, joyfull melodies. I don`t know how he managed, but he really did it.

I remember once he bought a cassette recorder and a microphone (on a small, nice stand). He put a microphone in front of the TV and recorded songs. Later, he wrote down the lyrics and learned to sing – just for himself, in his free time.

Years later, when I started playing, he supported me and kept repeating: “play what you like.”

He was tempted by requests such as: “Dad, I `m going to buy the amplifier. Could you support?”

He liked Chris Rea….

Father passed away on March 26, 2024

I wrote this song for Him, I hope He listens to me and smiles a little…
