An evening full of emotions, that’s why sometimes I didn’t “keep up” 🙂

Thank you very much for your presence. It is the presence or dedication of time that becomes so important today, when the world is rushing to break its neck. I hope that the evening will be remembered as a joyful memory of one Tuesday evening.

As promised, I present the setlist:

Part I

Bruce Springsteen – One Minute You Here
a single released in 2020 promoting the album Letter to You – I Really Like Boss, he knows how to sing about simple, ordinary things in a way that arouses interest and a kind of reflection related to the transience of the moment

Lipnicka/Porter – Heaven Knows Why
a song from 2003 from the album Nieprzyzwoite Piosenki. I like Anita very much (I have all her albums), for what?…. for the way of perceiving the world

Texas – Moonstar
A song from 2021 from the album Hi. The band has existed since 1986 – I have all the albums :)) They don’t open doors in music, they just play very unpretentious melodies that improve the mood

Tom’s Corner – Medicine For Life
The song was inspired by the cooperation with the National Health Fund : :)) at some point this kind of cooperation intensifies, but… well, the text speaks for itself :))

Common Linnets – Calm Before The Storm
Eurovision Song Contest 2014, single from the album Common Linnets. I sing it in a duet with my daughter Weronika. We both feel this song more 🙂

Modern Talking – You’re My Heart You’re My Soul
The first single from the debut album in 1984. A few years ago, I heard a live version in which Thomas Anders sang only to the accompaniment of the piano. And then I understood the phenomenon of this song.

Billy Idol – Bitter Taste
A song from the 2021 EP The Roadside

Tom’s Corner – Shadow – bass only

Robert C.Wade – It Must Have Been The Devil
A song from the 2017 album The Schoolhouse Sessions. I watched the artist live in July at the Polish Boogie Festival – after the concert, I bought all the albums that were available on the festival merch :))

Whitesnake – Give Me All Your Love
song from the album 1987. We slowed down a bit and in my humble opinion the song gained in such a “juiciness” :))

OMD – Too Late (with the interjection of Police – Evere Breath Tou Take)
song from the Universal album from 1996 – OMD has a lot of such hits that are practically not played, because they also have quite a lot of even better hits 🙂
version heard on the internet – very original

Marillion – Sugar Mice
single from the 1987 album Clutching at Straws. However, the inspiration was Steve Hogart’s later interpretation. I jumped to this song… well, there was no total failure :))

The Rose – Nebula
song from the 2025 album WRLD – The Rose is my favorite K-pop band. I’ve already done two concerts, I’ve had a lot of fun.

Part II

The Mission – Forevermore (intro)
track from the B-side of the single Beyond the Pale from 1988. The Mission is a very important band for me and I wanted to somehow weave something from their repertoire

Tom’s Corner – Just Before The Flight
I wrote the text at the Okęcie airport while waiting for a few hours for the plane. Music came later organically :))

Eurythmics – Here Comes The Rain Again
Single from the album Sweet Dreams from 1983 – I modeled myself on the acoustic live version. It was the most difficult song for me to present that evening

Tom’s Corner – Piney Fireplace The inspiration was the inscription on the mug: Baby It’s Cold Outside” :))

Tom’s Corner – Check-Mate Boogie
My dear colleague – Przemek encouraged me to write something like this with a flair, using distortion (Przemek likes it very much:) And I collected the plots and… an awl came out of the bag :))

Tom’s Corner – Autoresponder
creative effect of being with Colleagues :))) Greetings to Hubert and Damian

Tom’s Corner – Road With You
Thanks for all the rides and conversations about everything and nothing during them :))

Elmore James – Talk To Me Baby
a song from the 1963 album The Best of The original differs very significantly from our interpretation, which also changes with each play;))

Shakin Dudi – Gdy z Komina juz nie dymi, a song from the album ZÅ‚ota PÅ‚yta – ciÄ…g dalszy from 2008, it captures the spirit of a team of specialists with whom I had the honor and pleasure to work

Memphis Slim – Everyday I Have a Blues
The song was written in 1935, while the 1949 version determined its final shape. Our interpretation was thoroughly modern :))

Reds – Tylko wybacz mi, song from the 1998 album Berlin – just a memory

Nancy Sinatra (original) – Summer Wine – strawberry cherries 🙂
a song from 1967, although we were based on a more modern version from 2007 performed by VIlle Valo and Natalia Avelon

Tom’s Corner – Slow Down
This is a very uncomplicated song to hum in moments when you have thousands of things on your mind

Airbourne – Red Dress Woman
song from the 2017 album Diamonds Cuts – pure r’n’r

Tom’s Corner – Party’s Over
For a long time I had been thinking about writing a song for an encore, at the end of the concert. And here you go 🙂

Tom’s Corner – Koci Blues The protagonist is Mr. Tymoteusz the Cat – a cute pet who likes to sit with me when I play music.

And that would be….. See you next time and …. See the Gallery in the Corner
