W bardzo dużym skrócie – konkurs dla wszystkich chętnych – taki ogólno-światowy. Warunek 50+, czyli niektórzy się jeszcze nie łapią : ))
Projektem kierują ludzie, którzy współpracują z Abbey Road Studio w Londynie – czyli co by nie było – Profesjonaliści.
W tym roku pierwsze podejście zaliczone. Na półfinał się nie załapałem, ale kto wie, może w kolejnych podejściach : )

Skąd się wzięła ocena – każdy utwór oceniany był dwukrotnie, każdorazowo przez inną osobę

Kryteria oceny
Każdy utwór jest oceniany w czterech obszarach:
Czynnik X (30 punktów) – Ogólny odbiór, unikalność i emocjonalna więź
Tekst (30 punktów) – Jakość pisania piosenek, narracji i warsztatu słownego
Melodia (30 punktów) – Kompozycja muzyczna, zapamiętywalność i płynność
Struktura (10 punktów) – Aranżacja i organizacja utworu

Opinie zawierały trzy elementy:

  • komentarz ogólny
  • co się podobało
  • nad czym należy popracować

Pierwsze dwie części zamieszczam do zaczytania, natomiast ostatnią zachowuję dla siebie. Na pewno muszę popracować nad arranżacją, wokalem, „uczłowieczyć” bardziej drum station i generalnie popracować nad strukturą poszczególnych utworów.
To co udało sie zrobić dotychczas pokazuje, że jak najbardziej podejście jest właściwe, ale sporo pracy jest jeszcze do wykonania.

Liked:
The rhythmic melody and punchy instrumentation compliment to the relatable frustration expressed in the lyrics. The reaction of the phrase 'too many drivers’ acted as a clear hook and clearly converted the message of the song.

I think the song has an interesting, relatable message. The melody is catchy (albeit in need of more variation), and I like the instrumentation you chose.

I like that you added an instrumental section after the third verse. The song’s melody has some catchy parts. I really like the sound of the guitar after the fourth verse.

General Comments:
This was a lovely song with an addictive groove and excellent atmosphere. It really invites you in and is evocative of a dark jazz bar in New York city. The structure was a weakness of the song, some sections should have been reduced and a chorus section or repeated motif would really elevate the track, however the atmosphere and flow of the track compensated for this.
Liked:
The whole energy and atmosphere of the song is excellent, the vocal melody has this lovely careful tenderness about it that compliments the smoothness of the other elements. The groove is great as well and I was dancing in my seat.
